Katie Griffiths

Having learned Spanish for more than 15 years, I have a passion for languages. Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world and is a great language to learn. Learning a language can open many doors to new and exciting things, no matter what your motivation.

Since graduating from Liverpool John Moores University in 2003 with a 2:1 (Hons) in Tourism and Leisure and Spanish, I have been using my language skills on a daily basis. I worked for VisitBritain, the national tourist board, using my language to help visitors to London and Britain.

I have experience of teaching Spanish and French at secondary level, and have also done some primary outreach work. When living in Barcelona, I was a private English tutor, so have experience with one-to-one tuition.
